FLEET AUTO-MATES Job processing, Whiteboard and Routing provide integration with Mobile Working and Navigation. Navigation is closely coupled with FLEET AUTO-MATES Mapping.

FLEET AUTO-MATES can utilise its own Mobile Working or provide integration with Tom Tom Work or other third party systems.

Tracking data can be obtained from Mobile Working Units or alternately TOM TOM WORK or dedicated tracking systems (if available). Tracking data is shown on the same map as the planning system.

Mobile Working data and Tracking Data is crucial for Automated or Manual Dynamic planning. It provides and replaces crucial data that used to be obtained by verbal communications.

With the acquisition of this data in real time and in a format that a computer can process, it offers the opportunity for the automating processes by business rules. For example, a change of route due to a change of requirements or re-allocating due to traffic and customer deadlines.

FLEET AUTO-MATES mobile applications can be simple or sophisticated. There is no reason why all the driver paperwork should not be eliminated. Besides the application to deliver the goods, get POD etc., other functions such as driver time sheets, equipment ordering, expenses, holidays can be included.

FLEET AUTO-MATES can use most devices suitable for mobile working besides interfacing to TOM TOM WORK units. PDA units may be rugged or be a mobile phone type.
